As part of our growth strategy, the company is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to work and report directly to the Finance Director as well as work directly with 2 Data Analysts.

The role

The Senior Data Analyst will be a vital part of the company as it will be ensuring we continue to develop and enhance our product to drive further growth. You will be overseeing the understanding of Data at Uniplaces, helping decision makers use data to make informed decisions as to how they scale their team or optimize their behaviour.

You will also be responsible for helping the Data Analysts develop by assisting them to create dashboards or analysis that is relevant and has an impact.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Uniplaces as a company, how all elements of the business effect data in order to be able to assist the business with decisions;

  • Partner with the CEO, Finance Director, Head of Marketing, Head of Operations and Product Managers to determine what analysis/reporting needs to be created/updated and assist them in understanding the team’s analysis and the potential impact it should have;

  • Ensure all aspects of our product are tracked and monitored;

  • Work with 2 Analysts to perform detailed analysis of our the whole business with an increased focused on our Product and Marketing;

  • Analyse our CRM data, use the above marketing data as well as our other user data to build a complete customer journey.

  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis

  • Translate this analysis into something that can be easily understood by senior management


Your typical day will look like:

  • Turning Data into insights/dashboards and recommendations for the business so they can make fast informed decisions;

  • Liaising with stakeholders to understand what data is needed, what is happening with the business and how this data will help the business;

  • Analysis of data and working on longer-term projects to enhance growth;

  • Ensure new data is added to our data warehouse and then build the requisite tables/views for other users to use;

  • Meet with stakeholders to ensure you are aware of data changes, enhancements, tests and contribute to their thinking by presenting insights and ideas back to them.


Requirements

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of 4 years  experience working with Data and SQL

  • Experience with working with large data sets from multiple data sources

  • Fluent in English;

  • Degree ideally in mathematics/statistics/computer science/finance.

Preferred Tools knowledge:

  • Deep Experience in SQL.

  • Management of Analysts and Interaction with Senior Stakeholders

  • Data Visualisation Software

  • Google Analytics knowledge

  • Python

  • Data cleaning/ engineering (preferable)

  • Excel skills: Sumifs, countifs, index-match
